"AI Trilogy" (software for predicting, classifying, and optimizing)

Dr. Roush review a package of three applications from Ward Systems Group, Inc:

• NeuroShell Predictor. This provides the typical non-linear regression-equivalent for forecasting continuous outputs. The system trains on sample data. Neural network organization can be optimized with assistance of a genetic algorithm.
• NeuroShell Classifier: Same type application, only the outputs are discrete.
• GeneHunter: Applies the genetic algorithm approach for optimizing problems in Excel.

Price for all three modules plus a runtime server is US$999. Individual modules are priced at $395.

The review is favorable, and Dr. Roush especially like the examples and documentation that come with the packages. He claims the suite is user-friendly and suited to persons who need to get results without digging deep into the theory.
